Foam has been hosting “Richard Avedon: Photographs 1946 – 2004″, a great expo for one and all. I thought l’ve seen a part of Avedon’s work on the internet or in the occasional documentary about photography, but I was wrong: the man shot some of the most influental people from the last 50 years and changed the way we see fashion photography, from a mugshot-style instant to the art that is now. He even shot Charlie Chaplin. Anyway, l got to visit the gallery on my trip to Amsterdam last week and boy was I amazed. If you do get a chance, try to make it to the expo. It’s only being exhibited in 6 galleries world wide and who knows where it will resurface. You still have time till the 13th of May. Peace.

In other news, l added a link to my romanian lomography profile. I’ll add everything on film there too, so if you wanna see some magic colors blending, just head that way.

Once again in Amsterdam, l tried to stay away from the shopping street as my budget is getting low quickly. I don’t know if l managed that because we stopped at a gzillion cafes and bars, but l took a considerable amount of shots. Shots which will follow. Enjoy.

I really need to see new places. Last weekend l went to Bruxelles again, being short of other options and very far away from wanting to spend my beautiful Saturday in freakin Eindhoven. So we got into the car and drove for two hours and found a very very cold Bruxelles. Lucky for me l shaved my head a day before – l could feel every bit of the city’s weather from head to toes. Yey. Besides that, the city did light up at some point in the afternoon so l got some good shots in. Check it out.

I give you the Cathedral of St Michel and St Gudula. It was first built in 1047 (that’s almost one thousand years ago if you didn’t get it the first time). And now: inside shots!
